At this retreat, we will combine the tantric feeling for life with intuitive bodywork in this way. A journey through the elements of encounter, touch & support.

FAQ
Is the retreat held in English?
Yes. The retreat will be conducted in English. Rosa will translate into Spanish; Jörg and Eva are native German speakers and will provide direct support to German-speaking participants.
Do I need a visa for Guatemala?
Citizens of the U.S., Canada, the EU, the U.K., Switzerland, and most Latin American countries can enter the country visa-free for up to 90 days. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months after your entry. Please check the current regulations in your own country.
How do I get to Villa Sumaya?
Flight to Guatemala City (GUA). A private shuttle takes about 3–4 hours to Panajachel, followed by a 15-minute boat ride to Santa Cruz La Laguna. We’ll organize a shared shuttle on the arrival date, June 25, and on the departure date, July 3. The cost is approximately $40–60 per person each way and is not included.
Is Guatemala safe?
Lake Atitlán is one of the most well-established retreat destinations in Central America. Villa Sumaya is accessible only by boat and has been hosting international groups for over twenty years. We arrange organized transfers and provide clear instructions before you arrive.
What actually happens during the sessions? Is there physical contact? Nudity?
This is body-based tantra work: breath, movement, voice, mindful connection, and intuitive massage. Touch is part of the practice—always consensual, always with the option to say no. Some massage sessions may take place with or without clothing; you decide for yourself each time. There is no sexual interaction between participants during the seminar.
Can I come alone? As a couple?
Both. Most participants come alone. Couples are welcome and can work together or separately during the exercises.
Do i need any experience?
No. The retreat is designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to be present.
What is included?
7 nights at Villa Sumaya, three meals a day (vegetarian, with fish options), the entire program, the sound journey, and the group shuttle on the days of arrival and departure. Not included: flights, individual transfers, travel insurance, and personal expenses.
What if I need to cancel?
Your deposit of $500 is fully refundable through January 24, 2027. After that date, it is non-refundable but transferable to another person. Remaining payments are refundable through April 15, 2027, minus the deposit. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
How many people will be there?
A maximum of 25 participants, plus three facilitators and two assistants.
How to pay?
Deposit via PayPal. Balance due via bank transfer (Wise, in USD or EUR) or, upon request, via PayPal.
Where do i sleep?
In shared double or triple rooms at Villa Sumaya, each with a private bathroom. Single rooms available upon request (limited availability).
